Like most parents, I wanted bedtime to be this warm, cozy moment — the kind you see in picture books. But the reality? It was chaos. My kids were wired, I was wiped, and coming up with a creative bedtime story on the spot felt impossible after a long day.

I tried everything. Pre-written stories didn't hold their attention because they weren't theirs. Audio apps meant handing over a screen. And improvising a story at 7:45 PM when my brain was running on fumes? That lasted about two nights.

So I built what I wished existed.

Storytime Anchors was born from a simple idea: what if the app did the creative heavy lifting, but the parent stayed at the center? What if the story had your child's name, their favorite stuffed animal, the phrases your family actually says — and all you had to do was read it aloud?
